LINKS ABOUT THE CRITIC SEND IN YOUR QUESTION |
![]() VOLUME #1 Welcome to
another edition of Critic Q&A. In each volume I'll be answering
some of the many questions that
readers send in. I can only answer so many questions, so please don't feel bad if your question isn't answered. I'll get to as many as possible. If you have a question you'd like to see answered, feel free to email it to me. I'll try to update this page every two weeks as time permits. |
What's your
favorite Colecovision game? I love a lot of the many
Colecovision titles, but the one game I catch myself playing more than
any other would have to be Jumpman Junior from Epyx. How do you take the screenshots you use on the site? I use a Colecovision emulator for my Macbook called Mugrat. It's a fantastic emulator and makes it quite easy to capture high-quality screenshots. Where do you get the box scans that you use on the review pages? It varies. Some readers send in box scans, but most I scan in myself. I use a Canon CanoScan LiDE 90 flatbed scanner to scan the box covers and then the Appleworks paint program to edit and resize them. What is the AtariMax 128-in-1 flash cart and how does it work? The AtariMax 128-in-1 cart will basically allow you to put up to 127 Colecovision game roms onto one single cartridge and then play that cartridge on your actual Colecovision game console. It connects to your computer via an included USB cable and features a very easy-to-use menu system. I bought mine so I could play the prototypes on my system as well as some of the hard-to-find carts. I'll have a full review of it up sometime in the near future when I've had more time to toy around with it. Where is the best place to find Colecovision games? Ebay is really the best place to find Colecivision games. You can even find brand new games as well as some of the extremely rare game titles on the site. Check out the links section for more places to find Colecovision games for sale. |
